Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer YA/Coming of Age/Fantasy
(from Amazon) A story of romance, adventure, and humor, Between the Lines features high-schooler and social outsider Delilah, who discovers a charming fairy tale in the school library and can’t resist turning to it again and again. But one day she finds the book has hidden depths—and that the story’s handsome prince has somehow stepped from the page into her very own world.
(My Review)
First of all, let me say, I think the cover of this book is EXTREMELY misleading. It looks like some kind of romance book. So much of the book takes place in the BOOK, which is a fantasy book, therefore, I think the book should reflect that. It was a sweet story about a girl, Delilah, who feels alienated from everyone, until she finds a book in her library. In this book she meets a handsome prince. I don't want to give too much away, but it is a sweet story. I also love that it is written by Jodi Picoult and her daughter Samantha Van Leer.
